Storytime: Nine Color Deer
This Saturday, we will be reading Nine Color Dear – story originated more than a thousand years ago, found in the famous Magao Caves, in China. This is a gorgeous story about generosity and gratitude, adapted from a traditional Buddhist tale by Kailin Duan.
Storytime is a literacy program for children ages 3 to 7. Each activity begins with the reading of a story followed by a craft inspired by its themes. Our objective is to foster children’s love of reading by providing fun, interactive activities that will encourage them to continue reading after each session.
All sessions are free and take place in the Library every Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
