Whatever payment option suits you – whether it’s one-time, monthly or yearly – the Morrin Centre has a plan to suit your needs.
Single donation: You may make a financial contribution to our Centre in the form of unrestricted donations that will be used to support the Society’s annual priorities.
Monthly donation: Our day-to-day budgets and expenditures are often calculated on a single-month basis, which means we can also offer you the option of contributing to the Centre in the form of a budget-friendly monthly donation.
Annual donation: Under this option, you’ll only have to fill out the form once, and the Centre will respect your wishes to make a donation once a year. It’s a hassle-free way of contributing to the Centre’s long-term development.
We issue a charitable income tax receipt for all donations.
On Giving Tuesday, we launched our 2019 Annual Fundraising Campaign: #LHSQLibraryLove.
This year’s campaign aims to give some love to our library, more specifically to its children’s section.
Your donations will help us build a new bookshelf for our evergrowing children’s collection, upgrade the lighting in our permanent exhibit, purchase a new rug and reupholster the armchairs.
The growth of our educational programming is one of our greatest achievements in the past year. Over 150 new books have been added to our collection. We were able to reach more than 2,600 youth with our activities, a 300% increase compared to 2018. Considering that the Morrin Centre’s activities for kids are free, your donations will greatly benefit the quality of our programming and enhance the space in which children learn and develop. Thank you for your generosity!
The Morrin Centre and the Literary and Historical Society of Quebec (LHSQ) received several donations and grants last year. However, we still require considerable additional funding in order to meet our short- and long-term financial goals. We rely on our generous patrons, members and partners to support the development of our services and activities.
