Storytime: Lila Greer, Teacher of the Year
This Saturday, we will be reading Lila Greer, The Teacher of the Year. This picture book about an anxious girl’s arrival at a new school celebrates kindness, learning to face your fears, and the profound difference one brilliant teacher can make in a child’s life.
Storytime is a literacy program for children ages 3 to 7. Each activity begins with the reading of a story followed by a craft inspired by its themes. Our objective is to foster children’s love of reading by providing fun, interactive activities that will encourage them to continue reading after each session.
All sessions are free and take place in the Library every Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
