Book Quest – Storytime – North Africa
The Morrin Centre Book Quest Storytime, for children ages 3 to 6, will take place every Saturday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., from July 8 to August 26.
Week 5: North Africa
Book of the day: We’re Sailing Down the Nile: A journey through Egypt by Laurie Krebs and Anne Wilson.
Learning more about Egyptian culture will be achieved through reading a short story, crafting ancient Egypt costumes, and playing a clapping game to test what words the children recognize from the story and Egypt.
