Archive Photo Activity – NEW DATE
Join us for this convivial bilingual Archive Photo Activity!
Join us for this convivial bilingual activity offering a presentation (in French) on one of the Morrin Centre’s current displays, a discussion (in English) on old photos from our archives, and an opportunity to digitize a photo from your own collections. You can also tell a story about your photo!
Furthemore, if you have photos of or press clippings about the Morrin Centre and its neighbourhood from the past 40 years, in digital or paper format, please let us know, even if you cannot participate in this Archive Photo Activity. The Morrin Centre will include selected documents from community members in the upcoming On the Cobblestones project exhibition.
This fall, the Morrin Centre invites you to explore over 300 years of history with On the Cobblestones–The Morrin Centre and its Surroundings, Past and Present. Presented as part of the 40th anniversary of Old Quebec’s designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this series of talks highlights the building’s remarkable past, its role in the community, and the evolution of the surrounding neighbourhood.
