Director and photographer Sandra Tomaylla is a Peruvian artist based in Québec City. Entirely self-taught, she works at the intersection of analog photography and cinema. Through carefully crafted images, she offers viewers an altered reality that reflects her whimsical way of living and seeing the world. She has collaborated with artists in the music industry to create a variety of photographic and video visuals. Her strong interest in directing has led her to take part in the production and post-production of music videos and short films, including a documentary produced by SPIRA, marking the beginning of her career as a director.
