Artistic Connections: Crafting Personal Stories that Fit Our Current Reality
Join us for a storytelling workshop with workshop facilitator Michèle Thibeau!
Join in the experience of crafting and refining a personal story or two in a relaxed and safe setting. This workshop offers space to reflect and engage with your stories—the ones you tell yourself and the ones you tell others. Through a series of prompts, we will craft short, personal stories. In pairs or small groups, we will share them and reflect on the process of letting go of a story that no longer serves us and welcoming a new one that fits our current reality. Take advantage of this opportunity to gain feedback, perspective, and inspiration from fellow participants on how your stories land with them.

Workshop Facilitator—Michèle Thibeau
Michèle Thibeau has engaged with, shared, and written stories for decades. A former journalist and editor of The Quebec Chronicle-Telegraph, she has observed how stories evolve over time–including her own and those of Quebec City. These days, Michèle works on telling stories of economic development across Quebec. She also guides individuals in unlocking and celebrating their personal and professional stories as they reinvent themselves in a changing world.
This activity is part of the Artistic Connections—Creating Intergenerational Bonds project, made possible thanks to support from the Government of Canada.
