Daily Life in the Neighbourhood, a Panel

Presentation moderated byDanielle Burns, journalist for the Quebec Chronicle-Telegraph

Please note that this presentation will be given mainly in English, with a bilingual discussion period.

On the afternoon of Saturday, November 15, join us for a lively community panel about the Morrin Centre and its neighbourhood. Four community members will share their stories in the engaging interviews exploring the neighbourhood’s rich past and present—from the Morrin Centre’s restoration and its cultural programming today to church life at St. Andrew’s, from what it’s like to live in a heritage building to working and volunteering at historic sites among other topics.

The panel discussion will be followed by a relaxed moment to chat and connect. Have your own memories of the area? Come reminisce and share them with us!

Light refreshments and biscuits will be available for sale.
The On the Cobblestones project’s photo and art exhibit will be open during the event.

Event Participants: If you would like to suggest a topic for the discussion or have a story to share, please email us at cultural.programming@morrin.org
