– Presentation, in English, about swing, followed by a bilingual Q&A
– Dance showcase by four members of La Swing Ambassade
– 60-minute swing workshop in French (and some swing vocabulary in English)

La Swing Ambassade is a dance school specializing in various styles of swing: Lindy Hop, Charleston, Balboa, Solo Jazz, and Collegiate Shag. Depending on the style, swing can be danced either as a couple or solo.The Ambassade team is thrilled to share this dance with the general public, a dance that “shoots happiness straight into your veins.” The inspiring jazz-swing music makes you want to swing your shoulders from the very first listen. Pure joy, in short!
The word “Ambassade” (embassy) was chosen to make everyone feel welcome. It is a place to gather and share a magnificent dance and culture that originates from African Americans in the 1920s and is still vibrant today.
