Pen & Mic—Introduction to Journalism
This hands-on and creative program is designed for Grade 10 and 11 students interested in discovering the world of journalism. Participants will explore key aspects of the field, including:
- Analyzing, interpreting, and evaluating information
- Storytelling, interviewing, and writing
- Creating a magazine from scratch – including crafting recycled paper
- Broadcasting and filming activities
Students will also take part in a special visit to CBC Radio, organized in collaboration with CBC.
This project is a creation of the Morrin Centre, with the support of the Ministère de la culture et des communications.
