A Word Is Worth 1,000 Images

A book with no pictures? Blasphemy! For this week’s Storytime, we will read The Book With No Pictures by B.J. Novak, which makes its readers laugh with the mere magic of words and sounds. With this week’s craft, participants will discover how the letter “O” can eerily transform into a cute owl.

Storytime Online is a literacy program for children ages 3 to 7. Each activity begins with the reading of a story followed by a craft inspired by the week’s theme. Our objective is to foster children’s love of reading by providing fun, interactive activities that will encourage them to continue reading after each session.

All sessions are free and take place every Saturday from January 23 through March 27, 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. We are sold out for the winter session; if you would like to participate and purchase your own materials, send us an email.
