Donate Now Through CanadaHelps.org!

The Society has received many donations and grants in the past year. However, we still lack a large portion of the needed funds to fulfill our objectives to the fullest. We rely on our donors, members and partners to secure these funds and ensure the development of programmes and collections.

There are many ways you can make a financial contribution to the LHSQ and its projects. We are very thankful to all and will provide appropriate appreciation and visibility to all our donors.

Unrestricted Giving : You can financially contribute to our Centre through unrestricted gifts, to support current priorities of the Society.

Restricted Giving : We also welcome gifts earmarked for specific purposes. You can help the Society by contributing financially to any of the different funds listed on our pledge form. Please print this form (pdf format) and mail it to us with a check payable to The Literary and Historical Society – Donation . (Your funds will be channeled to the programme you wish to finance, therefore please make sure to complete the pledge form and send it with your payment).

Donations in memoriam : Remember someone special by making a gift in their memory and have their name live on.

Planned giving : What is planned giving? It is a creative and very flexible way to make a contribution to the Society and the Morrin Centre. Many types of planned gifts are designed to give an income back to you during your lifetime. Almost all of them provide a tax deduction, either an income tax charitable deduction now or an estate tax charitable deduction at death. Consult your tax advisor for help in identifying the best type of gift for your situation.
