The second event of the Postcards from Quebec<\/em> series will take place at the Morrin Centre on November 26, from 1 to 3 p.m.. Join us and enjoy music, dance, food, and an African dance workshop in an Africa-themed cultural fair! All activities are free.<\/p>\n

\"\"Mohamed Keita <\/strong>is a percussionist and dancer born in Conakry, Guinea. Before moving to Quebec City, he had a career of over ten years giving performances with different African ballet groups such as Soleil d\u2019Afrique, Azita Danse and Diba\u0457. Since 2018, he has been working as a professional artist here in Quebec City, giving workshops to young students, as part of the program La culture \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole<\/em>, and teaching African dance to adult groups. He also performs as percussionist and dancer with groups Djemb\u00e9 Qu\u00e9bec, Balafola, Kononi, and Les Voix du Faso.<\/p>\n
