Call for Art<\/strong><\/p>\n

Calling all visual arts enthusiasts! The Morrin Centre is inviting you to create a painting, drawing, or collage inspired by selected photos of our heritage site. Up to four artworks from community members will be featured in the temporary exhibit of our On the Cobblestones<\/em> project.<\/p>\n

Deadline:<\/strong> Friday, October 17, 2025<\/p>\n

Format:<\/strong> 2D visual art (painting, drawing, collage), max. 20 x 24 inches. Excluding photographs.<\/p>\n

Guidelines:<\/strong> Choose one of the four selected photos from our archives and put a creative twist to your own interpretation of it. Only one creation per participant will be considered. To see the photos, click HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Award:<\/strong> Four of the submitted art pieces will be selected and featured in the temporary exhibit of the On the Cobblestones<\/i> project on October 30 and November 15. The editorial team of the publication Society Pages<\/i> will consider one of the submitted art pieces to be featured on the winter issue cover page.<\/p>\n

Submissions:<\/strong> Please send a high-quality scan or photo of the original piece to cultural.programming@morrin.org<\/em><\/a> by Friday, October 17. If you wish to submit the original piece in physical format, please include an accompanying letter with your full name and contact details and deliver it to our reception staff during regular opening hours, or send it by mail to the Morrin Centre (44 Chauss\u00e9e des \u00c9cossais, Quebec City, Quebec, G1R 4H3).<\/p>\n

The Morrin Centre is inviting you to create a painting, drawing, or collage inspired by selected photos of our heritage site. Up to four artworks from community members will be featured in the temporary exhibit of our On the Cobblestones project. Deadline: Friday, October 17, 2025 Format: 2D visual art (painting, drawing, collage), max. 20 x 24 inches. Excluding photographs. Guidelines: Choose one of the four selected photos from our archives and put a creative twist to your own interpretation of it. Only one creation per participant will be considered.
