Like Water Off a Penguin’s Back
Don’t you just hate when you lose your penguin? Join us this week for a reading of Oliver Jeffers’s Lost and Found, in which a boy and a lost penguin develop an unlikely friendship. Afterwards, kids will make penguins of their own using a foam cup. Be careful not to lose it!
Storytime Online is a literacy program for children ages 3 to 7. Each activity begins with the reading of a story followed by a craft inspired by the week’s theme. Our objective is to foster children’s love of reading by providing fun, interactive activities that will encourage them to continue reading after each session.
All sessions are free and take place every Saturday from January 23 through March 27, 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. We are sold out for the winter session, but if you would like to participate and purchase your own materials, send us an email.
