For a 16th consecutive summer, Book Quest is back with an exciting new theme: Explore the world of vertebrates! During our 8-week-long program, children between the ages of 3 and 12 will get to dive into the world of these spiny creatures. Each week, we will tackle a new group of vertebrates, starting with adventurous mammals and ending with jogging amphibians!
As of Saturday, July 4th, children ages 3 to 7 are invited to join us weekly on Zoom at 10:30 a.m. for a storytime, an activity, and a craft.
Older children, ages 8 to 12, are encouraged to wake up early on Saturdays for our 9:15 a.m. Zoom gatherings for weekly S.T.E.M. challenges full of tricky (and sticky) science!
All Book Quest activities are free of charge. Due to the special circumstances brought on by COVID-19, we will be handing-out Book Quest bags to each and every participant in order for them to have all the necessary material for the summer online activities. These bags will be available for pick-up as of the last week of June for those who have registered to the Book Quest program. Participants can register through Eventbrite using the link below. An email will be sent on June 17th with more details about the procedure for Book Quest bag pick-ups.
