Come celebrate Science Literacy Week with us on Zoom. Winter may be approaching, but did you know you can keep a self-sufficient biosphere in your house? Join us to create your own biosphere in a jar that will survive throughout the year. You will be amazed at the result!
Participants are asked to bring a small part of a plant from outdoors for this activity.

The S.T.E.M. Club welcomes children ages 8 to 12 who love to experiment and wish to learn more about the world around them. Each week, we will explore a different science theme and have children test out their hypotheses. This program aims to promote creativity, critical thinking and perseverance, all the while encouraging children to continue reading science-related books after each session.
All these sessions are free. Participants are asked to register by September 12 to reserve their spot. Registration for the second fall session (November and December) will be open in October.
Participants will receive a Zoom link one hour prior to each activity.
