About Arts Alive! Québec
Arts Alive! Québec was a project from ELAN (English-Language Arts Network), who has been in charge of its creation, and who carried it on a provincial level for four consecutive years. The concept was simple: six different regions with dynamic English communities, banding together to offer their own version of the event, with performances and activities for the whole family from June through September. Programming was highly individual, reflecting local tastes, arts, and cultures. Through the universal language of art, Arts Alive! Québec’s inclusive, family-friendly atmosphere builds bridges between English-speaking and French-speaking communities.
The Morrin Centre has had the pleasure of being part of this project since its beginning, as its objective fits snuggly with the centre’s own mission.
