For groups of 8 people or more
A theatrical experience that will put you in the shoes of a convict who was recently interned at the Quebec City Common Gaol.
As soon as you arrive, the physician will examine you and explain how he plans to cure you of all the physical and mental ills that some inmates appear to be afflicted with. Then, the prison guard will take you on a tour of death row and the isolation cells, where you might well end up if you don’t follow the rules! Special treats include the sampling of period remedies and various punishments!
Duration
60 minutes (available in French or English).
Capacity
A minimum of 8 people are required for a group reservation.
School groups: 8 – 70 students max. 1 – 5 teachers max.
Adult groups: 8 – 75 people max.
Reservations
A minimum of 15 business days advanced notice is required to reserve Life of a Convict for your group. Please contact the Tours Coordinator from Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 4:30 pm with the following information:
- Desired tour
- Two optional dates and times
- Total number of people
- Age group
- Language (For ESL or FSL: indicate level of comprehension)
- Name of company, organization or school (if applicable)
- Coordinates: Contact person, email, phone number, extension number (if applicable), address, billing address & accounting email (if applicable).
