The Pick-a-Book team invites children age 3 to 8 to come together and make a difference for Earth Day on April 21, 2018 at 10:30. The Earth needs our help more than ever and Earth Day is the perfect time of the year to raise awareness on how one’s action (no matter how small) can make a big difference. The theme will be approached by a group reading activity, a one-on-one reading activity and a creative outlet. Throughout the activity, the children will be able to stimulate their imagination, enhance their knowledge, expand their vocabulary with the help of volunteers and understand how important protecting the Earth is. Children who wish to gain familiarity with the English language are also welcomed to join us during this one-hour activity. Participants must register at the Morrin Centre website before the activity to save their spot.
