Children ages 8 and up, and theirs parents, are invited on a theatrical journey, from behind the scenes to the stage.
Join us for an exciting drama workshop, given in English by drama teacher Tess Leblanc. Using excerpts from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s The Little Prince participants will explore themes of friendship and appreciation of life. The young actors will create a short scene that they will present at the end of the workshop.
Participants will then be invited to complete their theatre experience by attending the French play Mon Petit Prince, presented by le Théâtre du Gros Mécano at 3:00 p.m. at Les Gros Becs. A mere 5-minute walk from the centre on rue St-Jean, le Théâtre Jeunesse Les Gros Becs offers a discount on the ticket price to the first 25 children and their parents who register for the workshop.
“The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched; they are felt with the heart.”
